    Hello.

Just wanted to introduce myself. Have a 2013 Prius Persona in Black Cherry Pearl with 129k miles. Purchased with 28k miles back in Dec 2015. I commute 175 miles r/t 5 days a week and needed a reliable and $$ saving vehicle with some utility. Seems like I made the right decision so far! Hoping to learn a bunch on this forum and increase my knowledge of potential issues that might arise. BTW, I love the POWER button!

Thanks Prodigyplace! I already have found a wealth of info here. My HV battery died and a wonderful PriusChat forum member quickly came to my rescue. TMR-JWAP drove 3.5 hours to install a Gen2 battery housing with Gen3 cells in it. He had tested it for a few days in his car and drove the 3.5 hours with it, then put it into my car when he got here and we tested it. And he did all of this for $1200 AND gave me a 3-year warranty on it.

I'm really bummed that I didn't join years ago rather than just lurking here . . . :giggle:
