    Hey Gang,

Do we have a comprehensive list of Gen 3 upgrades that we can agree everyone needs? (more difficult that written I'm sure)

While I was cleaning my 2010 IV today I began to wonder if I had everything up to date.
The best firmware, OBDII settings, ect..
and then, of course, there's hardware...

This came to mind while I was contemplating how to keep my android music from restarting songs upon every car restart... I'll figure that out one day...

Might be a nice sticky thread, for easy browsing?

Single backup beep is probably my favorite change.

yeah, you can use a code reader or have Toyota do it, but I think they charge $50. Which is stupid since it's just a digital code switch and takes incredibly little effort.

I count this as tech so I will offer "Rear Swaybar"
I got mine from Hotchkis for $85 plus shipping. This is not a subtle improvement in handling, but a massive improvement!

What model # Hotchkis did you get, and did you buy it directly from them?

Hi/Lo horn upgrade. There is a link in my signature below to the upgrade thread.

The oem Prius horns are literally meep meep horns. The upgraded horns (less than $30) will give you a a respectable and safe honk honk.

I did purchase it directly from them. You may have to call them directly to purchase. Is is the same bar as the Scion XB. I will say that mine took a good month to get as they were between production cycles. Again, a call to them would be in order to ensure delivery expectations are met.
Let me know if you get it as I may have some installation tips to help you out.

I just changed the horns. I got Hella Supertones. Sound great. I thought I would need a horn relay and whilst looking thru the schematic I see my Prius V4 HAS a horn relay. Just to double check I disconnected the horns and pushed the button. You could hear the relay click on and off. No extra relay needed. Easy install and I like the sound. 118 db of get out of my way loud...
