Hello I'm trying to find a pre painted rear bumper to replace my gashed one. Any thoughts or refs trying to avoid going to the shop and paying 900 for it. Thanks!

Here in California, there are bumper repair places a plenty. Doesn't matter if you have a gash, hole, or deep scrap or both, cost to repair ranges from $100 to $500. I had someone do my wife's car after my son let the garage door hinges cut grooves in her rear bumper. You cannot tell it was ever damaged. The grooves were deep! My cost was $150 to fix. Google Bumper repair in your area..........I'm sure there has to be someone near you.

they can never match the color, your car is sun faded and the bumper will be fresh paint, the best thing to do is get one from a salvage yard, they will be the same factory paint and will have similar fading and will be cheaper.

just call them and ask if they have one in the color you need or see if they have a website, most do.. see if LKQ salvage yards are in your area, they have always been the cheapest but you have to pull the parts yourself..its not hard to do, 10 min job with basic tools.. watch a youtube video on how to remove prius rear bumber
