Unaware of any specs other than what may be required by the Feds, sorry. But as an FYI, when we replace a window at the dealership, we typically call the local car window installer. I would assume the aftermarket windows also must meet those same specs.

 

The knowledge of the windshield is just from my observation. You can see it is slightly tinted. But most of all is custom Toyota for the car. Check with dealership for replacement and they can oversee the installation. The windshield has an arc and height which integrates with the hood of the car. It isn't a standard window like other cars. If not the dealer then a Toyota certified body shop.

 

how did you replacement go? I have to replace my 2002 windshield eventually cheapest quote I have found is $200 but I've heard of someone doing it fo $180
