Can anyone share any instructions, diagrams or manuals on how to remove the main radiator (for the ICE) in a 2010 Prius. I have a pin hole leak spraying out through the blades of the passenger side fan down low. All coolant leaked out suddenly but we caught it immediately and the computer did not thrown any errors, especially related to overheating. The inverter coolant does not seem to be affected and I understand it has a separate radiator. Is this true?
I suspect I will need to replace the main radiator and will consider doing this myself if I can find some good documentation.

Inverter radiator is a short piece at the top. You're sure it's the radiator, not the AC condensor? Coolant level is dropping in the reservoir?

The main "radiator" at the front is the AC condensor, the engine coolant radiator is behind, and the inverter coolant radiator the aforementioned short radiator, at front and top.

Thanks Mendel and Chap. Just the resources I needed to make the decision. It's definitely the main radiator....i filled the overflow reservoir with distilled water and it came back out a hole in the radiator on the side facing the engine. It squirts out about 3" with about 1 gallon in there and the car off. I assume if the car were on it would be under more pressure and drain faster. Fortunately we caught it at home so I have a place to work on it.

I would be very interested to know how the radiator R&R goes for you. I have a bent radiator support bracket that I need to replace sometime but it looks like a pretty involved job to R&R the radiator.

Well I've decided to have a radiator shop put it in for me (not the dealer who charges about twice as much). The diagrams shared are great and I'm convinced it wouldn't be that hard but I only have about a 5 hour window in the next 2 weeks and if I can't complete it I'll be waiting a several more weeks before another window. If I had more time I'd do it myself. Thanks again for the contributions.

I'm working on a bent radiator support as well, how long did that take you?

A while back, Elektroingenieur kindly assembled a wiki page with a lot of information on getting access to the manuals and other service information.

Question for Mendel Leisk and others:
I was told I need to replace my radiator and hoses. This is a 2007 Prius, Touring model with208,021 miles. The headlight glass is so scratched on the passenger side, that I thought the bulb needed replacing. Question: since they are taking off much of the front end to replace the radiator, is this a good time to:replace both headlight casing units as well? I’m hoping to keep this Prius going to 300,000 and beyond, if possible.
