Clicking Noise "click click" "click click from front passenger dash during accelerating and braking

    Just got my prius 2016 and less than a month i noticed that there is this persistent clicking noise that appears to come from the front passenger dash, this clicking sound "click click" "click click click" would come on during accelerating and braking and it's making me go bonkers!


    I've checked the Glove compartment, removed it (clicking noise persists)

    Do you have similar experiences ?

    Noticed since 45-50k miles in mine, got bit worse but still running. Now 90k, not planning to do anything unless...

    I've brought the car in, workshop did not mention anything about CV, they did a tear down of the central console panels, shifter console panels, glovebox compartment panels, but did not find anything wrong..
    now they want to pull out my dashboard to diagnose... and it's going to take 2 weeks!
