Thank you edthefox5 for the reply. I had a feeling it was the inverter but I didnt want it to be. After clearing the codes I still have
    P3004-131
    C1310
But it does say C1310 is no longer there.

Is there any hope. Or just go and get the inverter and move on? Thanks folks for your help

WOW!!! We still don't have lift off. I have had the inverter changed and there is still not a go. It will give a quick read and then nothing. SMH The code is still p3004-131

OK just found out that The car has blown another 125A fuse in the orange switch. And the battery continues to die. The 12V that is. Im tempted to pull the working one out of my other prius but I need to drive it. So i think I will see if I can source on around here.

    Hey Debo160,

Did you ever figure out what it was? I'm having the exact same symptoms but the 120 amp fuse and 125 amp battery disconnect fuse are still good. Did you end up replacing the inverter?

Hey Bigyums. What I did for this one was to change the orange cable that went from the inverter to the hybrid battery. After that the car fired up and is still driving to this day. Im guessing when I did the reverse polarity it fried a few things but the inverter was spared. The radio had a bad fuse and a couple others had to be changed. She's still kicking well over 315k!!

"Exact same symptoms" usually isn't nearly as useful to know as whether you have the same problem.

Debo160 had a P3004-131 trouble code, which points to the battery disconnect fuse, and Debo160 had a blown battery disconnect fuse.

It seems likely that your car has a different problem, and once you can post what your car's trouble codes are, that'll be a big step toward finding what the problem is.

I I had burn marks on one of the connectors. It was like the last thing I hadn't done.

I have tried reading the codes. It won't respond to tech stream scanner or another ODB scanner, so I don't have that option. I posted videos of what is happening in another thread. The combometer looks like it just shorts out when you try to start it.
