We own a 2009 Prius it has navigation as well as aux. We'd like to get SiriusXM, How do you tell weather or not our radio is satillite compatible? Any info is greatly appreciated. Have a blessed day/night.

See the attached brochure. Since you mention your Prius has Navigation which was part of a package, I would venture to guess that it probably has satellite capability. I'll also would guess to install satellite radio, you'd have to purchase the module and antenna. I've had it installed on a car in the past that was "satellite ready" and I think it was about $500 but that was many years ago. Good luck...let us know if it worked.

Thanks for the feedback. Where would I purchase the antenna kit? I don't remember seeing anything on SiriusXM's website. I'm sure there are third party companies that make antennas for satilite radios as well. Should we take it to a dealer's service department to make sure it has satilite radio? It shows a satilite icon on the radio display so I would assume, but nothing happens when you hold down the am/sat button. Any more help is greatly appreciated. Have a blessed day/night

I would check with the dealer first. What I find searching on line it looks like you will need the Toyota Parts: PT54647060 and the XM tuner module 86180. There is a dash after the 86180, but it was not specific. I see the parts on ebay, but I can't vouch that they are correct or they are in good working condition. The best bet would speak to the dealer or maybe someone who is more experienced on this site can add some information. Just Google the parts and see what you find out. Good luck
