Headlights are polished and back in the front fenders. Tossed the old ones in the trash. They would have needed a bunch of sanding 400,600,1000 & 2000 before I could even start polishing them. I took the little red thing out for a drive today. I'm kinda emotional about it--it looks so good! Still need to finish the lower engine covers and the curb feeler that runs along the bottom of the bumper cover.

Getting some wheels tomorrow. Discount Tire, these: [IMG]screen shot

More and better pics to come. I sold my Taurus yesterday, feelin' a little flush.

They are stock size, offset, and width. They are on, still need to do an application of tire shine to hide the W. Texas dust. Four wheels with all the fixins and mounting and balance was $404 total. Not much more than if I'd had the old wheels repaired and balanced. It looks to me like all the lugnuts are locks, the key thingy is going into the little trunk bay with the tow hook and never gonna get 5' from the car.
