navigation system

    Hello,
    Is there a way to alter or recode the navigation computer so the passenger can enter addresses or search POIs while moving? It is quite inconvenient to have to pull over to do this or try and quickly do it at a stop light.

    Mwahh hah hah haaahhhhhh!!! If you can find the answer you will long be revered in these hallowed halls. Search through the forums, there are several threads. Short answer - you can cut a couple of wires and insert switches, but there are side effects. No software solution has yet been found.

    go to clublexus.com and perform a search. they use the same system with minor changes and they have a way listed on their site.

    Which systems are on which year Prius? Or if you have access to clublexus.com could you post it here? I know that the people in the Lexus group found the software override for the 2004-2005, but this is the first for the 2006.
