Since having my Prime for ~ 2.5 months now, I've seen other Primes on 3 days, the first time, 3 during the day, the 2nd time 2 at different times, and the last time, a Prime followed me in the carpool lane down the I15 from Escondido til my exiting at Mira Mesa ...
I did see my first Mirai today, had an errand first thing and drove back home on I15S in Temecula, saw what I thought was a Prime in the rear mirror but when he passed it was a Mirai, white, looked pretty sharp, like the backend almost better than the Prime, he exited at the same exit as me in Temecula ...

The other day while walking between train stations (work in a chair all day, need some level of exercise so walk a mile between train stations works out okay :D) and saw 4 Primes drive by, two were dark grey, one white and one blue. I know the two gray ones were not the same as one had EV plates and the other didn't. We aren't required to get EV plates in MA, but are encouraged to do so. Later that same day I saw a titanium and a red which I had to look at twice to make sure someone wasn't taking off in my car :D. I drove to the grocery store where we have a charger available and parked two chargers down from me was another red Prime (a Stop and Shop that has 8 charging stations available for free use). I know I have now seen at least 10 other Primes in MA based on the color blend and general location where I have seen them. This doesn't count the 3 or 4 I have seen at dealerships with new plates on them but hadn't been delivered yet. They seem to be selling well up here at least. The $1500 state rebate probably doesn't hurt, we used ours to buy a EVSE which I will eventually get installed.

My guess is that Flyshacker's last name is Fleischhacker. Good German name!

Finally! Saw a twin to my Prime from a distance in a vendor parking lot where I work today! Not sure if it is an Arizona native or a traveler from California as I was still half asleep (I was the passenger) when picked up on the familiar rear tail lights but didn't catch the license plate. Either way, first one I have seen in 5 months and 10 days! Another first for today....Temp should be 120. Yesterday the car registered 118 in the shade.

After the initial flurry, I'm not seeing the Primes popping up. What I am seeing now are more Leafs and Smarts. Go figure.

If your dealer is Toyota of Easley the car is suppose to be at the dealer on July 6. It was supposed to have been mine but those dealers are nothing but money hungry and I cancelled order. Then went to Koon's Toyota outside D.C.. Ended up saving over $1400 from the cost of car and the total trip. Suggest that anyone in the southeast look to the mid-Atlantic and New England area. Hope Easley treats you good but I will never back to that dealership.

You're not going to find a deal in the Southeast because of the limited availability Southeast Toyota Distributors is giving. The dealers can only sell what they are given through Southeast Toyota Distributors. They won't give any cash back incentives either even if Toyota is giving them in other parts of the country. The dealers have their hands tied because of Southeast Toyota Distributors. If you want a deal, need to goto to like where you went or in that area. It would be worth the drive to save thousands. I got my on December 3rd. The first one they could ever get. At the time, I paid full msrp and didn't know of the limitations to come for the area or the discounts that would be given elsewhere. I am happy with my car despite the situation in price. On the brighter side, I got a $1199 state tax credit for last year in South Carolina. The credit expired on 12/31/2016. If I didn't buy the car in December, I wouldn't have got the credit.

I did get notified of the car (not knowing who ordered it) last Friday that they would have a Prime on their lot next week from the sales manager. I am just curious how long it will take to sell. If people know they can get it cheaper further away, it might be awhile. Some many not want to do the travel either.

Unless they are on this forum the lay person will probably not know or look to go elsewhere to save money. I did buy it before July 1st so that is another $200 saved from the new tax.
