    Professor John D. Kelly of Weber State University, Ogden UT, has made a series of YouTube videos about the Prius family of transmissions and several other hybrid cars. Here is the video introduction:

    Weber videos are the best.. The gentleman in the wheelchair is very good. His dissertation on the g2 transmissions is excellent and in those videos is quite obvious the motor windings are not exposed to fluid both mg1 and 2 are in there own sealed chambers and the trans fluid is only pumped into the diff section and the inverter coolant is routed in channels around each mg and those cooling channels are heat sinked against both mgs.
    Truly a brilliant piece of engineering the g2 trans is.
