    Maybe car designers need to institute the "valet" test: can you hand the keys over to a valet, and the car will be returned to you without issues? Or do you have to stand there for 10 minutes, telling the valet about your car's "special needs".

    My salesman showed me quite a few details when we test-drove, then the day of delivery, he went through most of the details with me, and we set up the HUD, dash display functions, radio stations etc. I was impressed, as he'd only seen a Gen 4 2 days prior, though used to be their PRIUS mechanic.

    A few years ago in New York City my son left his Prius v and fob with a parking lot attendant. The attendant ended up running after him to find out how to start the car. :LOL:
