Both are Five trim levels. One car has 42k miles for $18k and the other has 60k for $16.5k. The one with higher miles has leather, heated seats, and navigation so I'm assuming that means it has the luxury package.

Anything I should look out for particular to 2014's?

Its not leather, its Softex. The 14 models had an issue with the nav system freezing which required a replacement of the head unit. So you want to see a complete history of the car which Toyota would have.

All 5 models have a nav system and Softex, so I might suspect that the other one you're looking at is not really a 5.

Hmm, how to tell what's really a 5? I've requested the window sticker or at least a run down of options. It has 17s but that could be aftermarket.

I just found a 2014 Brochure. Only the FIVE came with Softex so if it has leather like seats its a FIVE.

Many dealers equate the v to Five, which only some are.

You can search the VIN at Toyota.com and see what it is. Its a cinch that the dealer is your least reliable source of info.

I figured it. Only the five has fog lamps and headlight washers. Those are dead give aways

Yup: headlight washers are due to the headlights being LED, which maybe don't heat enough to melt snow. Aparently this requirement "went away" with 4th gen, which all have LED headlights.

Our Canadian 2010 Touring is sim, note the LED headlights look a little different too, two small discs for low beams (the LED's) and larger disc for high beam.

I particularly like that Canadian "front charger" option!

And what looks like leather/softex could actually be leather. I have a '12 v Three with leather (Toyota kit) and my DIL has a '12 with softex that isn't a five from the other items on it. Mine has manufacturer tags visible, hers doesn't.

look for the tech package which includes the heated seats, moon roof etc etc but the most valuable things IMO are the collision and lane departure features. all 5 trims should be pleather and have larger rims. good luck.
