I just received a call from the Toyota dealer informing me they have to order a new radio for my car.

The bluetooth stopped working. My iPhone shows the bluetooth system is connected, but when I try to play stored music thru the iPhone app, no music would play. The radio screen would show a spinning disc and it would never connect.

They had the car for over 7 hours and said they are ordering me a new radio and it would arrive at the dealership in several days. Luckily I have an extended warranty and there will be no charge to me. The car has 45000 miles on it.

The system always worked, but suddenly stopped. I tried other phones to connect to the radio and none of them would work.

Has anyone else had a similar problem with their radio?

Update: They ordered a new radio and they still could not connect the bluetooth. They are now saying they have to order a new module. I have no idea what module they are ordering.

Fixed. They wanted to charge me $693.00 for a new module which controls the Bluetooth. I had an extended warranty. Total cost 0000000. Bluetooth now works perfectly.
