    Black 2017 Price Two Eco.

$24,400 OTD (vehicle is in FL, doc fees are listed at $899).

Sound decent? Includes TSS-P (another 2017 Two Eco in stock did not include TSS-P, and they were asking same price I believe), floor mats ;) and black shifter bezel (whatever that is).

    Thanks for any thoughts.

All 2017 Prius trims have TSS-P.
The latest 2017.5 also have TSS-Plus that adds blind spot monitor.

The black shifter bezel covers the default white around the shifter to better blend in with the black console.

Ahhh, okay. Some misleading here. Hmmm... that being said, I guess I need to look further into this model. At this price, any thoughts on value? Worth trying to seek out a 2017.5 (I suppose the dealer should know the answer to this question, but how I can know if it's a 2017.5?).

    Thanks for any thoughts!

OK, well looking further into the 2 Two Eco models available at my local dealership, both appear to have been manufactured 11/16.

Now I'm wondering if I should move forward with purchase. Numbers seemed OK to me, not sure I *need* the TSS-Plus, but who doesn't like additional features? Also, seems these cars have been sitting for quite some time, wonder why.

Again, any thoughts on pricing, etc. appreciated!

you're in florida, southeast toyota. unless you want to fly out of their region, it's probably about as good as you can do. all the best with your decision!(y)

How is that car $24400 OTD? I just drove away from the dealership and I'm paying a little over $28K OTD. Could it be because I live in California and you are in Florida?

Uh, did you get a prius 2 eco with no extras? that seems like a really high price for 2 eco. Looking up the current deals for 2 eco and it seems you can get in the 23k + tax/fees (sunnyvale express car service)

For reference, I got a 2016 three ATP for under 27k OTD last nov, so I think you're comparing the wrong trim?

Well I got approved for 0% @72 months and did no down payment instead of taking the $1750 cash back + financing + down payment.

Is there any reason you prefer the Two Eco over the Two? The Eco version does not have a spare tire or rear wiper. It has the Lithium Ion battery though.

    Morning Prodigyplace!

I bought my first Prius in 2008, it was a 2006 II. In 2012 I bought my second Prius, a 2010 II, and I've used the rear wiper on both maybe 4 or 5 times (if even?). I think it's something I can live without, especially if I keep something like Rain-X applied (which actually the new car purchase includes some sort of window treatment free for 3 years (every 6 months, go in, give the coupon, and they apply to front and rear windows -- salesperson said it was basically Rain-X). (Something to make you feel like you're getting something, eh?) :)

As for the spare tire, *fingers crossed* I've yet to use a spare tire on either Prius (only once in my ~25 years of driving have I used one). Maybe I'm due, but I guess it's a chance I'm willing to take. If I can really concerned, or take a long road trip, I could throw a compact spare in the rear, but it's unlikely I would really. "Cast your fate to the wind..."

I initially looked at Eco just because of FE numbers, and while I realize it's rather minimal upgrade on Eco, it's appealing. The lithium-ion battery is also appealing, though I suppose we're not sure of it's longevity at this point.

Anyway, based on my research it seems the numbers they're giving me here are likely based on this vehicle having been on the lot a while.

Do you feel you're really going to miss (never having had) TSS-Plus?

Ran long here. Thanks for any thoughts! :)

If an Eco does not have TSS-P it must be a 2016. All 2017 Prius have TSS-P. That is one reason I bought mine in October.

I definitely would miss the radar cruise control. I never use the lane departure alert. I believe the re-collision system could be useful in some situations, reacting faster than the driver. Automatic high beams can be useful is some cases too.

We shopped for the most affordable Prius with LED headlights and Radar cruise and ended up in a used Plug in .. no complaints .

I always liked the ECO specs and it seems 4th Gen Prius the LED headlights are standard , but until the TSS-P became standard equipment the radar cruise could only be found on the Tech pkg like Prius 4 base . So now looking like the best of both worlds ..a little ECO boost for MPG but the options I like .

I think that is a great deal. I just bought a 2017 Prius Two Eco in Southern California an hour ago for $23,200 with 0% at 60 months. I took the 0% instead of the $2,000 rebate. Price was before TTL. The rebate would have made the car $21,200. My dealer's price was $300 better than the well regarded Prius queen on here. My car stickered for $26,310.

Thank you! I have been following this forum for over a year. I decided to trade in my 2014 Camry Hybrid in search for better MPG's.

That's funny. I drive 160 miles a day and I was only getting 33-35mpg in it but I drive 80-85. I definitely will miss the looks and room but I drive too much not to have something with better gas mileage. I traded it with 114,000 and it was a little over 2 years old. Hopefully, this thing does good on the freeway driving 80.

BTW I wasn't trying to hijack this thread. Isn't there a thread to post the price we paid? I thought I saw one, but now I can't find it. It should be a sticky
