What does the dealers "Cooling System Service" entertain exactly

    Hello everyone! First time posting here, I recently got my mom a Prius C and I do the general maintence myself but do have her take it to the dealer for an oil change ever so often for the inspection. This time around they advised that a "cooling system service" was nessary along with the inverter coolant.

    I am not very familar with hybrids as I have only owned BMWs. Is there anyting special that needs to be done for the cooling system service or is it simply flushing the engine coolant?

    welcome!
    it is a bit more complicated, but not much. btw, these services aren't recommended until 100,000 miles.
    just follow the o/m maintenance, and maybe throw in a tranny fluid change.
