Just got a leftover 2016 Avalon XLE Hybrid at thousands off MSRP. Might as well be a Lexus. Was gunning for a 2017 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid but there were few incentives on that and many on the Avalon. Selling my 2011 Prius to a friend at a cut-rate price since she needs a break. Wanted something bigger with more luxury, a sure sign I'm getting old. Maybe it's finally time to join AARP.

Congrats! The Avalon is really nice car. They've done well with this generation.

Thanks. Had looked into another Prius but wanted a bigger car with more presence. A Camry Hybrid was too ubiquitous for me; as was the Honda Accord Hybrid. The Lincoln MKZ was awesome but its shallow trunk, small back seats and lack of incentives made the Avalon Hybrid a value standout.
