I googled this phrase - I STILL haven't managed to display a screen that shows EV range. Thought maybe I could find a video that demonstrated how to do it.

Anyway, this is what I came up. Thought I'd share - very clever.

Screen that shows EV range? You mean in the multi information display? Use the side arrows to choose the "i" symbol all the way on the left, then the up/down arrows to choose "HV System Indicator." Remaining EV range is on the upper left. In the settings menu, you can change it to display remaining percentage of battery capacity instead.

for driving a prime, it's true that pre collision system, line departure alert, and cruise control on radar are really usefull. I got a few alerts already. It's like having a copilot.

Thanks, I eventually found it. Problem was, I thought the EV range was showing the range you got the last time you charged, rather than the predicted range given the current charge. And since my car wasn't charged at the time, the range wasn't showing up.

'For dummies' was pretty accurate. :)

I have been a computer professional for over 40 years, and I find the multi-function display intimidating. I still haven't got a good mental model for what gestures you use to simply navigate the screens, which you use to change a value, and which value in a list is the current value. I at first thought that as long as I don't press the select button, that I would not be changing anything, but I am forever changing the speedometer to km when I think I am just browsing the current settings. I really look like an idiot when my wife comes in the house to growl that the %#* car is showing speed in km/hr.

Press the TRIP button on the steering wheel and you can see EV range under the speedometer.
