New to the group. I inherited a 2005 with a dead HV battery and being a tinkerer I decided to try and get it going without doing a fully replacement. A couple of the cells were bad and I have disassembled the unit and replaced them. There was a great deal of tarnish on the copper bus parts so I polished those and everything else looks good. I have an Ultra Power UP120AC Duo charger and would like to balance the pack before reinstalling it. Can anyone give me specific settings on the charger setup and number of cycles to run? I keep seeing contradictory info on the web and would like not to do more damage than good. I would like to run some cycles on the cells I pulled out first just to test the setup before doing the main unit.

Best bet is to buy the hybridautomotive.com charger and discharger units. They work very good.
I used the charger and there inexpensive light bulb discharger and it worked pretty good.
Lots of members have bought them.

Ive got the same charger, and the exact same situation except i have a spare supposedly dead battery pack as a donor, Did you ever get an answer to this? Or remember the specs you used?
