Don't forget your Costco discount . I used that with the Toyota Discount of $2,500. I got $1,018 off from Costco.

My dealer said that Toyota explicitly prohibits Costco discounts from Prius Prime (standard Prius qualifies).

There is no Costco discount on the Prime in my area at this time. Nor at any time I've checked so far this year.

I tried to get the COSTCO deal in Chicagoland. Only one dealer claimed to have it. Turned out they couldn't, or wouldn't discount the car. They did move a smidgen on the price, but then added a bunch of useless VIN-Etch and fabric treatment (for non-fabric seats?) nonsense adding just as much as what the supposed discount might have been, which would really be padding their profit. I walked out of the "deal." Ordered the car the very next day at my usual dealer, maybe paying a slight bit more, but in the convenience/comfort/trustworthy departments, I think I came out way ahead. Peace of mind has a price. Not ever trusting a dealer also has a price.
