I was out in the car earlier and I had the window down.

Parked the car put the window up and went into the shop.

Came out 10 mins later and my driver side window will not go down, but I can control all the other windows fine.

Is it a connection issue ?
    Motor ?
    Or something else ?

Well I think there is only one fuse for all the windows, so if the other three work it wouldn't be the fuse. That leaves the switch, motor, controller, wires, or connectors. If it were me I would just take it in.

Windstrings just had a problem where none of his would go up or down, I think he said it was a controller module, quite expensive too. Fortunately he was still under warranty, you should be also.

Turns out that the right side passenger window is also not working.

I am going to take into the dealers on Friday and get them to also check the steering recall as well.

The window lock doesn't affect the driver's window, when the driver's switch is used, which I'm assuming from the original post was the case.

Could be any of a half-dozen suspects, as noted in the second post.

Well things are getting worse, well at least a little.

This morning when I got into the car I now find that the Passenger front window will also not operate anymore.

So I only have the right/rear passenger window working at the moment, but the way things are going I expect that to fail today or tomorrow.

So as I suspected, I came to leave work today and indeed the last remaining window is now not functioning.

Oh well, lets see what they find on Friday when the car goes in to the dealers.

I suspect a computer / controller problem, not a window switch or regulator. Why stuff like this has to be tied into one of the central CPUs is beyond me, but this seems to be the case. Let us know what they tell you.

Well it turned out to be as simple as the Master Switch being unplugged.

They are all working again :)
