I have collected a few hybrid battery full complete cores over the years, anyone know where I can sell these for 350+ dollars? I know there are buyers out there because I have a buyer for $250 (he offered me that) who buys and sells. I just need to find out who his buyer his mwahahaha.

    Prius rebuilders? Any help?

I am searching cause I recently bought a full battery filled with dead cells. Looking to take the edge off my now lesser 420 buck bank account.

Do you have a collection of dead cells or you just recently bought a battery full of dead cells?

Where do you get these and why sell it after you buy it?

Both. I have a collection, and I just got scammed into buying a full pack of dead cells, which pissed me off (my fault I was in a rush and didnt test them before handing the man my hard earned american doll hairs) into looking into a better situation. Now I got a guy paying me 250 for a full pack, which means I can get more. If ebay works, then I may be able to get up to 400 for 28 cells. hmmmmm

Where do you get these and why sell it after you buy it? You are a reseller of dead cells?

So you are selling the dead stuff you can't use to repair cars?

that's what it sounds like, and resellers seem eager to buy. now who do they sell them to? that's the question. is there money to be made in dead cells?

If you post on Ebay it would be wise to mention that there are non working cells, just out of due diligence. Otherwise who knows what upset person may come after you. Karma has it's way of coming back around. If you were looking to recycle them, you can google hybrid battery refurbishers and they may give you a nickel and dime for the parts but I wouldn't expect anything like 400. You could get lucky with one but it would have to be shipped and there goes your profit. Sorry about the money woes, sucks. I've had a bad year financially as well.

    I got $150 a piece im happy :)

Yes I would have absolutely marked them as bad if I listed them. NEVER buy cells off ebay. You never know what you get!

I would imagine one could recycle the components, if one had the requisite knowledge and equipment.

I had a wrecking yard tell me that the batteries they deem unsuitable for resale go to a recycler for $500. I assumed that meant a scrap yard of some sort.

In fact I had intended to ask exactly how they test these packs, to see if I might buy a few with some decent modules for the $500, use some to replace my own bad modules and then sell whole packs for the $500, to the recycler. But I doubt the recycler would deal with me like they would the wrecking yard.
I've meant to bring this up to Eric Becky. I think he's the guy to ask.

Not sure if you still have any battery cores, but we are looking for a bunch for a fleet operation. Prius or Camry. Will buy whatever you have.

It’s possible to bring these cells back to life with a charging rig. Pretty much what Prius battery refurbishers do. So you might want to find one of those guys.
