I was just told by my local Toyota dealer that they don't list a bra/mask for the '06 Prius.
Does anyone know why not? Am I better off with the clear film?

Is there any reason an '05 bra wouldn't fit right on the '06???

Yes, there is an air dam on the bottom of the 06 that is not on the 05. If you install the 05 bra you will have to remove a whole bunch of screws everytime you remove it to go in a car wash....
Now please everbody e-mail this company http://www.colgancustom.com/shop_vtrim.php#1...
THERE IS POWER IN NUMBERS SO HELP US OUT EVEN IF YOU DON'T WANT A BRA !!!!THANKS

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(efusco @ Jul 6 2006, 12:52 PM) </div> I called them early this morning to order the bra and the EV Switch. She said that she couldn't guarantee that the bra would fit the '06. She has shipped some out and doesn't remember getting any returns.

Has anyone bought it from them and know if it fits???
Thanks

Are you certain of this? Do you or does anyone have a photo of this new air dam? And why would screws need to be removed to go through a carwash? Please clarify.

Do a search on this subject and you will find lots of information on Priuschat. This is one threadhttp://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=20619&hl=

If you do get your order let us know how it works out. But I think you will find that it will not come off and on in any easy fasion without doing some kind of customizing to the BRA.

Yep -- this is old news, Evan. The '06 is just different enough to screw up the mounting locations on the '05 bra. I don't think anyone at Toyota even thought about it until customer complaints started rolling in. Some folks leave a mounting clip off, others take off the air dam. I think most just avoid the bra until it gets settled out. I went with the clear bra instead.

that's incredible, i'll have to take a closer look!, the thing is my 2004 bra does have a huge cutout for the airdam ... we're talking where the fog lights are right?

I installed my own clear bra after a lot of thought and research. I was encouraged by the insanely high prices for the product in my area. In the Bay Area, you can expect to pay $650-850 for a standard "professional" installation.

Here are some links to my experience installing the clear bra on my white '06 Prius:
