    The "approval" process seems to be pretty fast (about 2 weeks?)
    What I'm curious about, is after the "approval" process, if it's the full 90 days to wait...

    If you are talking about the state rebate, I was told that the money dribbles to the non-profit that handles the rebates at regular intervals, so they can only send out checks after they have received an allotment of funds from the state.

    That is just what I was told; establishing the veracity of the claim is another matter.

    Just as an FYI, the SCE rebate works the same as the State Rebate. They receive an allotment of funds and then send out the checks.

    Whoever received an SCE check a few weeks ago lucked out. I was approved almost 2 months ago and am still waiting for my check. I think I just missed being in the current batch :cry:

    I feel you, I submitted mine on June 18th and still no approval email. Guess we hit the brick wall on this rebate. Lets hope there is more cash flow allotted for this soon. :)

    Submitted mine 5/24 and Wes told they had "reserved" the $450 for me. Was promised a follow up in 30 days ... but no.

    SCE application submitted 5/22, approval email received 6/5 ... according to email (below) it might take another 6 weeks. and the online application says: "Total reserved rebate: $450" ... we'll see

    Congratulations! Your Clean Fuel Rewards Program (CFRP) application has been approved for your Toyota Prius Prime for $450. We typically issue rebate checks within 90 days of application approval. You will receive an email when we mail your check.

    Just wondering... has ANYONE received their $450 rebate from SCE yet? It's been over 2 months since I applied for it and got "approved". I know it says to allow 90 days, but I'm just wondering if anyone has received theirs yet (and if so, please describe how it came -- what did the envelope look like that it came in? Did it say SCE on the envelope?)

    Unlike the CA rebate, the SCE rebate's website is pretty useless (just says "approved", but no indication of if it's been mailed, or any other info. Nothing to click on either at this point, except just to view your application)..

    I just got an approval earlier this week. Guess Ill be waiting a while before the check gets mailed out.
