Should I buy the Prime or wait for the Prius after that?

    XREAS was cross linked shocks. Worked great to limit corner roll while on road. My 03 lifted 4Runner with XREAS cornered like a sports car. XREAS means you can only lift with spacers like Revtek.

    KDSS was specifically designed to help off road by disconnecting sway bars allowing for more articulation. 4Runner got KDSS in the trail edition starting in 2010.

    It gets very complicated with terms like all wheel drive, 4 wheel drive, center differentials, locking differentials, etc. Many people driving them for years still don't know the difference.;)

    Here is the semi-official answer:
    Buy it now, the 2018 model will not have ANY difference, just will cost more!!!!! the 2017 is where the smart money is!
