I need a recommendation for a indy shop to get the front bearing done on a 2014 plug-in 2014. Dealership quoted me $1000. Looking for someone who can do it right. Seems like a complicated repair reading up on here.

    Thanks.

You can easily replace the wheel hub. The bearing is inside. I did one on an old Camry a while ago.

One option down the way a bit from you is Mac's service center in Ashland.

Hi ray, do you have any experience with this shop? Your location shows that you are from CA.

I spent 6 years living in the greater Richmond area;).

While I have no personal experience with them, some members here have used them.

@wjtracy may know of one in Fredericksburg that might be a good one as well.

    Hope that helps(y).

We do not seem to have too many special places to go for service except for standard repair shops. One member @PurcellvillePinball in your area talked about getting his work done at Progressive Automotive in Hamilton.

PS- you may want to call Toyota USA to see if they could cover as that is a strange repair
