Has anyone had experience installing a sub/amp for the Premium/Advanced? I've always had cars with easy access to wiring behind the stereo and nav but I'm concerned about damage during installation because so much more of the electronics seem to be tied into the screen, not to mention removal of the giant screen seems like a task in itself. I just got my Premium yesterday but want to avoid any potential warranty issues with the electronic system since there already seems to be a fair number of owners with screen glitches. Any input is appreciated.

I would just use a line level to RCA converter and hook it up to an external amp. This is the easiest way to do it and possibly the cheapest.

that's how i've always had it configured in my past cars. i'm just concerned a shop unfamiliar with the Prime may cause damage.

Why not install a small bazooka speaker in the back with wiring to the rear speakers and a power source? Seems it may be easier.
