Don't hold your breath - unless you can hold it 'till 2016

Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV delayed until early 2016 in US

It's starting to look like Charlie Brown trying to kick Lucy's football - even as the rest of the world falls in love with the car that the rest of the world has already fallen in love with.

it's the unusual case when something comes out without delays.

New Target Date for Outlander PHEV Introduction: Spring 2016 | PluginCars.com

Mentions an expected price between $40k and $50k.

How has the new Mirage done? Before it's arrival, Mitsubishi looked to be going the way of Suzuki. I'm beginning to wonder if corporate isn't sure the next Outlander will be enough to save the US arm, and will just cut it's losses, or delaying until the Gigafactory helps with battery supply.

2018 just around the corner ... time to drown out any Mitsu, 'delayed until' noise. Their bs is tantamount to the illusory instant / affordable / long range battery. What a shame.
