I am new owner of a Prius Prime Premium.

In my Cellphone's Entune App I see the following:
    -Charging Station Map
    -Destination Map
    -Fuel Guide
    -Pandora
    -IHeartRadio
    -Slacker Radio
    -Saved Destinations
    -Sports
    -Stocks
    -Movie Tickets
    -Open Table
    -Facebook Places
    -Yelp

All of these seem to be useless to me. Does anyone here use any of these? Are there any other related apps that Prime Premium owners can take advantage of?

I don't use any of these and there are no add-ons, unfortunately. You should (we should all) ping Toyota and hopefully they will updates our Entune to the same as the new Camry. At least to include OTA map updates.

    Agreed. How? Online petition?

Why do they even spend any time on such useless crap?

I would like to see an app that could fetch the fuel/electric/miles, etc. usage data from the car (via bluetooth, if the car is not web connected like Advanced) and present the data in a more meaningful manner. As it stands the MPG shown on the car is meaningless.

I think Prime Advanced users have something useful. They paid more so its understandable.

The Advanced has all the same stuff, as far as I know (I have one but the above list has led me not to bother with either Entune or SafetyConnect). It has remote climate control but that's all I'm aware of not on the above list.

I do use the music Apps (and will use them more when my XM runs out). I wish they had a tunein radio app as I listen to many more stations than are available on iHeart radio (Clear Channel stations). I will use the gas station app next time I need gas to compare the prices at my local stations.

The Apps mentioned above (or a Fuelly app) would be really nice.

Couldn't disagree more. Pandora/Slacker/iHeart all work great and make great no-cost alternatives to XM. Yeah, jungleland1972, I'm with you on adding TuneIn. That and the other three would pretty much cover everything I listen to.

I listen to exactly none of those.

I listened to one station on tunein, several years ago. Cell service isn't reliable so, when moving, cutouts are nearly constant where I commonly drive. Down a hill into a hole, no cell service for 5-30 seconds. Do that every 5 minutes and you'll give it up quick.

Besides, I have a whole music library on both USB and on my phone, and HD radio. I can't see a need for more.

Opposite problem here. Except for a couple brief dead zones, mobile service everywhere I drive. HD radio, on the other hand, spotty and limited range.

    Different strokes...

I really like the custom music stations on slacker and Pandora. Also, for iHeart radio I can listen to out of market sports radio stations which is fun. I wish there was a podcast app, then I would be all set.

I laughed when I saw the Entune “apps”. They looked like they were straight out of iOS4! Mostly worthless if you ask me...

So IOS4 was mostly worthless? It's not that I don't agree with that, I've just never heard anyone say it.

Oh, I don’t know if it looked exactly like iOS4. I was just referring to the fact that Entune looks so out-of-date and the functionality is extremely limited. It’s just not modern or pertinent for today’s needs...

As I said in previous post, different strokes. For streaming music, it does the job well (for me, at least). It ports Pandora, iHeart, and Slacker to the MFD just fine, and it's far easier and safer to control it there than to try to do it on my phone while I'm driving. No, not the slickest interface in the app or on-screen (hey, we can't all be Apple), but plenty functional. I haven't used the other apps (OpenTable, movies.com, etc.), but wouldn't say they're not pertinent. They all have a useful function if you happen to need them. I just haven't needed them, so far.

I agree 100%. I actually don't mind the look of it either. I believe it's designed to be safe to use while driving, with larger icons and larger font. It reminds me of the "Car Mode" my old phone had where the icons would become larger and it only displayed the apps that you would use while driving.

I tried TuneIn on my way to work this morning. Cut out three times in 15 minutes. Annoying.
