Apple iOS 11

    I'm running Apple iOS 11 beta. Where I was having issues with all versions of 10, I was 11 appears to be working perfectly and better than expected. Where I had not tried on iOS 10 some things because it was crapping out from time to time I've been trying a number of new things on iOS 11 and they all appear to work great.

    Such as:
    pushing and holding the talk button then speaking give me directions to home
    send a text message to so-and-so
    I'm even able to say additional text if I pause too long and Siri is able to pick it up and amend or add to my message

    All this while in driving mode. If I pick up the device it asked me are you driving but the button and Siri still works great allowing me to communicate without touching my device.

    Glad to hear that!

    I haven't been having any issues with iOS 10 (on a 7+), so hopefully that doesn't mean that I'll start having problems after I switch over...

    In Dallas and wondering how you like your Prius Prime? Went to Temple Texas from Dallas in order to drive one as no Dallas dealer had one in stock at the time. Later Dallas dealer got one he did not know he was going to get and I was able to drive that one also but it was sold the next day.

    I'm actually on IOS 11 beta and now music and podcasts skip every minute or so while connected via bluetooth. I tried on a BMW and it's completely fine. The bluetooth skipping only happens on my Prime.

    Why didn’t you upgrade to the production version ? The current production version is 11.0.3.

    I have this same problem!!! It skips for a split second every minute or so and it then the pitch and speed rise a little to make up for the skipped second! It’s so irritating!

    I have the same issue. I haven’t tried it on another vehicle, but I don’t have problems with my UE Bluetooth speaker or either of my sets of Bluetooth headphones. I hope Toyota comes out with an update soon.

    Same skipping issue with iOS 11.1 here... no problems before updating to 11.

    I sat and made note of every time it skips and it looks like it skips once every minute or so. See attached photo. I’ve reached out to both Apple and Toyota. I think we need more folks to report this so that they can fix this!

    iOS 11.2 (beta 4) cures the skipping issue, although the player controls now seem less responsive.
