I just installed the CoastalTech EV switch (20 minutes...easy instructions) on my '06 #7.
It seems that I have to be at a stop when I do the 2-second pull on the Cruise stalk to get it into EV mode.
Anyone else notice that? Am I doing something wrong?

At a stop at the start up, yes, later while driving no if you meet the criteria it will go into EV mode. You will usually not be able to do it just after starting. I most often use it at the end of a trip when I am going home.

Agreed. I will usually activate EV when coasting to a stop light or sign. I am also trying the technique of using EV on startup from as many stops as possible. It appears that I am getting about a 2 mpg addition onto my normal mpg cumulative displayed on the MFD.
