    :(

There's gotta be something in the database software or the way the code is handled that's causing this repeated error. I'm not fluent in database management so I don't know if the root cause is hardware or software. It's been a while since PC was taken down for maintenance. Perhaps the website needs a cache flush.

It's been working smoothly in the last 40 minutes. Just one hiccup. Knock on wood.

You’re welcome to hunt for a fix. Offering suggestions and assistance was what got this thread moved to Fred’s House in the first place.

Yawn, wassup? Everything seems fine in sunny Cornwall this morning. Must say, that's a heck of an improvement for PC and the recent weather.

I think that HUGE THREADS consisting of over 1200 posts might be a contributing factor.

There's something that happens quite regularly for me, maybe only on pc: will click a link (say "new posts") and I get a blank page, no statement about unexpected error, just nothing. Refreshing the page, it loads ok. Maybe a clue, for someone with a clue?

I have no idea. I don't have access to the database and I don't want access lol.

Is that implying the DB is constipated, or the very opposite? (n)
