I have been looking around in local dealers used inventory and noticing several v's in market now... Like someone indicated many are off lease and in to used car market. I currently have 06 Prius with 235K mileages and going.

I am in market for high mileage around 80k to 140K miles Prius v. I like fixing up Prius but not looking for major issues to fix. I see prices are going around 11K for 110K to 140K mileage and seems to be dropping.

I also noticed some dealers have Prius v in inventory for more than 3 months going. There is a risk of purchasing Prius that is sitting in dealer lot for 3+ months with very little movement. What would be even bigger issue here for Prius sitting 90 days+ in warmer weather?

i don't think there is any issue, unless the battery is weak, which is possible when you get over 100k in texas.

I paid $8,700 for 2012 Prius v that was fairly clean (not quite up to my standards) but was an easy fix up. 137k miles. Runs and drives nice. Had nearly new tires on it. I've put about $300 into it to get it where I think it needs to be. Still needs another couple hundred dollars worth of minor things, but it's been working perfectly for me. I'm right at 46MPG right now, but if I stick to the little back roads around here, I've had it up over 50.

I just got a 2012 Prius v with 84k miles for $11k out the door. Be sure to pour a bottle of fuel injector cleaner into the tank at your first fill up - this will remediate some of the issues present in a car that sits on the lot for too long. Using a bottle of Heet on the next fill up is probably a good idea as well. I am getting 44 mpg if I drive like a normal idiot, and over 50 mpg if I drive carefully.

we just recently bought a cpo 2015 prius v level 3 with 25k miles, they wanted 22k we ended up giving them 19,800. including the optional premium extra double secret insurance policy lol and our 07 prius with 200k miles I feel it was a fair deal, as our 07 prius was using oil about a quart every 500 miles and all the rubber around the windows were melted, and I had wore a finger groove in the steering wheel from driving it all the time . TPMS was also bad on the 07 . they got a very used prius for a trade in had gone cross country about 5 times or more
