Optimal MPG on Prius Two Eco 2016

    Hello pals: my interest is telling to all others owners of the new prius 2016 & 2017 that my experience with my new prius eco 2016 that the MPG its almost fantastic if the person drive according with the car. I got easily 64 MPG without effort! And by the way, I got yesterday october 12/2017 83.1 MPG driving carefully to the limit of the car... In my humble opinion it's really difficult get other car than can be better that Prius in economy and quality, Prius is reliable to the limit. There are others cars more expensive or plently of gadgets, but not with the characteristic of Prius, than can travel fron Key West to Alaska go and return without problems... When the electric car arrive in the next future everybody must recognize than Prius was the game changer after almost 100 years of the same car type... No more for today. Bye and hello everybody...

    The 2 passenger Honda Insight hybrid 5-speed was a solid 65 mpg car- sometimes over 70. Good to know the Eco is such a great hybrid.

    I too have a 2016 Eco. I don't rely on the computer to give me my mpg. I keep a written record of gallons bought. I was getting over 72 mpg on driving in town but soon I hope to make a few trips driving 70 mph on interstates. Bye, bye 72. Hello 50?

    Yeah, note the odometer reading at each fillup, and save your gas receipts, that's all you really need. I do reset trip meter at fill up, but only for reference, rely on the odometer: it is too easy to accidentally reset a trip meter. Also if you do a battery disconnect for whatever reason, all the trip meters are gone.
