The other difference is that the one from Sigma would need to be painted while the Shark Fin already comes painted.

Is there any noticeable difference in performance between the factory antenna and the shark fin?

It probably depends on the station you listen to (strength, distance to tower and frequency). Some have had no difference and others find it less.

Did you get to try out that Armrest Console Organizer from Sigma yet? It does look great, but it appears to me from the picture that it replaces the small plastic tray that the Prius originally comes with that sit on the tabs in the console. I'm not sure if I'm willing to pay $59+shipping for that dinky little thing, although I could be wrong? Maybe some better pictures would help me to see what it really looks like?

    Thanks!

I do like it, it nicely replaces the plastic tray that sits inside the console. I like having a tray specifically designed to keep coins handy and keep them from rattling around. I use it all the time. However at this price it's clearly an extravagance. I can't say it's 100% worth the money, but I wouldn't send it back.
