Your explanation would make sense then as I don't know how long the buzzer had been going off either time. The first discharge someone else came home and found it done and buzzing so they shut it off. The second one was at 4am and i don't know how long it had been going off. I got home 4 hours ago and the charging cycle was upto 233 and its still going up and is at 236 last time i looked about 30 minutes after charging for 17 hours so far.

Don't worry about force charging. The current (<20 amps) is still too low to do any damage to the battery. While real driving the battery sees currents of 90 - 150 amps without getting damaged. Even though I would recommend the slow and steady process. With the discharger you don't have to pay attention. Just let it go. A few hours of rest in between don't hurt.

Waiting to get my kit in the mail now, been lurking for days wondering if I was wasting $450 that could've bought a battery, hoping to see positive results, standing by...

Any HV battery you could have bought for $450 would have been a crapshoot and probably worse than your current battery.

Charging is only half the story and you won't get long lasting results just top charging. You need to discharge too. You can make your own light-bulb discharger for probably $20 in parts. As far as ease of use, it won't be nearly as good as the automatic HA discharger, though it will get exactly the same result.

So just a quick update. I completed two discharge cycles and the associated charge cycles with the final charge cycle running for about 24 hours. I've driven the car two days since finishing and you can definitely tell a difference. The battery gauge stays between 1/2 and one green bar away from green. The ice runs less than it was and seems to act much better when idling. I'm going to keep an eye on it for a while and do all three cycles in a few months when I have the car out of service for a few days.

Mirrors pretty much my experience. I also noticed smoother ICE start/stops, which over time, prior to reconditioning, had started/stopped with a little judder.

Well, it could have made a down payment on a battery. At least one that would last. Nothing will make a battery last forever, but the charger, if properly used, will extend its life it the battery isn't damaged.

Yes exactly. I have noticed the car no longer feels like the engine is about to drop out of it when the ICE starts and stops.

I would hope I don't have damage. Let the car sit too long when I bought the wife a new set of wheels, I was commuting daily on my bike and when I went to start it no dice. 12V was dead, tried to jump it properly to no avail, and upon replacing the 12V I started getting all the symptoms that I've come to learn on here point to the traction battery. It's currently sitting in the driveway with the 12V disconnected waiting for my kit to come in.

What codes are you getting? If the problems started after a jump attempt, that sound more like damage from the jump, which would probably not be related to the traction battery.
