Hi PriusChat.. I have a 2007 Prius with 298k miles. Last night while driving home on the freeway, The CEL came on, followed by the red triangle and the little car symbol with an exclamation point on the display. At this time, the AC and cruise stopped working. The car was still driving fine, and continued driving normal for the 35 remaining miles home. About 15 miles from home, the yellow brake warning light with exclamation point came on also. I looked up some threads in the PriusChat forums, and found a lot of similar symptoms, but so many different final diagnosis's.. Have any of you experienced these symptoms all at once? And can you share whether you'd dive too deep into repairing? If possible I'd like to squeeze another 15-20k miles out of this beast, would really be helpful I can get it to last until March. Thanks!

Can't tell without the codes. Sound's like the HV battery, but one doesn't spend that much without being sure. If that's the original battery, you did well. If you just need it to work a few more months, it won't cost much to "fix," but the next owner won't be too happy with you. That's if it's the battery. Also, make sure the 12V battery is up to snuff before you do anything else.

A symptom of a failed inverter pump would cut off your ac. Try the ac in a few hours and see if it'll work. If it works, then most likely you'll have an inverter pump failure. Easy fixer if that's the case

Your car probably was on the verge of a overheating breakdown when you got home

Thanks for all the replies.. I checked the codes and they are:

    P0304 - Cylinder 4 Misfire
P0300 - Random Multiple Cylinder Misfire
    P0301 - Cylinder 1 Misfire
    P0303 - Cylinder 3 Misfire
P0A93 - Inverter Cooling System Performance

I'm hoping I can get away with replacing the 12v. battery and Inverter Pump.

I went out this morning after reading the posts, and yes, the A/C is working now.. I'm going to replace the inverter pump and 12v. battery. I'm hoping this will do the trick until spring.

12v may not be an issue. You do have lots of misfire cylinders though.

    I would do the following

    1 replace inverter pump
2 Charge 12v battery and reset the car by unplugging the battery for a minute

Then see what happens and go from there
