    I don't know what the first one is. Both are white, however, which I doubt is what you're looking for. I would just go to Home Depot if you can (or any hardware store) and grab yourself a can. It's literally $6. In any case, this is what it looks like;

    More work.

    Removing them is tedious, and you risk injuring them (I lost some of the blue color when I removed my HSD badge).
    You then need to remove the remaining glue (from car and badge).
    Painting is probably the same amount of work.
    Then you need new glue to reattach them, and get them in the proper place.

    Another big reason is reversibility. Plastidip is 100% reversible.

    Well I have a white car so I am thinking about whitening as opposed to blackening. From the Home Depot picture it looks like it's made by "Performix" so it should be equivalent to this one:

    I guess.

    That would be the right part number. The amazon link probably shows the old packaging.

    White emblems would certainly be different, but IMO black emblems look great on white cars.

    How do I remove the black/blue backing inside the front and back emblems of a 2010 prius? I want to plastidip mine but mine is white and I want inside of the emblem to be white instead of the black/blue backing
