Is there a place to get rid of the messages that appear on MID say before Lane Keeper Assist is active or before the Cruise Control goes on? Annoying as heck.

If it is like the Gen 4 you can get rid of some of the Cruise Control informational startup popups but not the most annoying ones. I believe it is under the Settings on the MID when the car is in READY mode. I do not use LKA but I think there are some settings for it there too.

I think the popups are a safety hazard.
They could have redesigned & resized the MID graphics to have an area across the top for non-=critical messages. Reserve the full screen popups for urgent critical messages.
Otherwise all messages will tend to get ignored or somebody will have an accident due to being distracted by them. I know my first 150 mile drive home at night was very distracting!

The safety message when you first ready on really bugs me. When I have to sit there to turn the ac on or the heat on. And the whole animation gets old too.

IF you are referring to the cruise control safety message, that stays, at least for DRCC. I agree it is annoying
During the Gen 4 startup animation I just have a series of beeps. I believe the Prime has customizable music.

Get a Carista, lots of interior and exterior electrical modifications available, but start up icons stay, you can dim the display, Black it out

Have Carista, don’t see an option there to get rid of annoying messages.

You can turn off most of the MID messages in Settings.

The users manual lists all customizations including those requiring dealer software. I do not see any pop up settings that cannot be adjusted from the menus in the car.

Prime doesn't have Lane Keeping (LKA), or at least I haven't found any reference to it in the tech manuals. It does have Lane Departure Alert (LDA). The function of that can be turned off. I would guess the warning would also be off as well if that's what you choose. Page 232 in the owner's manual. Pop up display options for other things like cruise control, and their on/off settings are on page 234.

Only a couple of the cruise control popups can be turned off. Most stay on.

I stand corrected, it’s LDA w/SA, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist. The pop up is still annoying anyway. No way to remove that I can see, still.
