    Hello,
Have come across and issue with the passenger wiper on my 07. Initially I thought the blade was just crappy but with another set installed I can see it's not helping much, plus the driver side appears to work fine. Lately I took to looking around at the actual assembly and wiper arm. I can see there is very little pressure being applied to the blade, little enough that it doesn't fully form to the contour of the windshield. I also noticed that the general wiper assembly seems to have a bit of play/wobble in it if I try and move it around by hand with some pressure.

First thought would be to see what can be looked at under the plastic pivot point cover, but figured I should ask here first before I start tearing stuff apart!

    Any ideas for this scenario?

    Thanks

The arm may be loose on the "transmission", there is a nut that secures the arm to the transmission (pivot), but it is also possible that the arm is bent upward. This can happen if the blade gets caught in a brush-type carwash and pulled upon.

    Got it, thanks.
I didn't look terribly close yet, but what is the best way of getting that cover off to see if the nut needs tightening?
Will also look at the arm and see if it can be tweaked a bit.
