I have two NEW IN THE CRATE Toyota / Primearth G9510-47060 Prius NiMH Batteries. I was originally going to use these to build two Gen 2 batteries, but have decided to just put them up for sale. The 47060 is listed as being for the 2010-2011 model Prius, but the 28 modules could easily be used to rebuild any 2004 and later Prius NiMH Battery. These batteries are virgin, and the crates have only been opened for inspection and photos. The batteries themselves have never been removed from the crates. One battery has modules date coded Jan 2016 and the other is date coded April 2016. Both batteries show 215 vdc when a safety disconnect is installed and voltage measured across the main cables.

This is exactly how a new battery is received. Your electronics get transferred to the new battery, the wire harnesses get plugged in and the fan gets swapped over.

If being used for 2010-2011 Gen 3, all that's needed is to install your electronics and fan on this base to make it a complete assembly.

I don't know the exact differences between 2010/2011 and the 2012 and up HV batteries, but the 28 modules in these assemblies could easily be used to make an awesome rebuilt battery I for any 2012 and up NiMH battery.

If you love your Gen 2 and want to keep it for another ten years, it just doesn't get any better than this opportunity. Rebuild your Gen 2 pack with these modules and you'll be heading down the road for many years of driving with no fear of module failures.

Search G9510-47060 on the internet. I see nothing but prices in the $3600-4050 range, then take off $1350 for a core credit, which puts the price at ~2250-2700.

I'm putting these up for sale at $2000 each, with no core required. That means you can keep your core or part it out. Modules go all day long on ebay for 25-40 each. Even if you have only 25 good modules in your original pack, and make $25 each, that still takes another $625 off the overall cost. Now you're down to less than $1400 total.

If you are interested, but not sure of your ability to build/rebuild a battery, feel free to contact me. I'm sure we can work something out. Preference is for the southeast, as I'm in Columbia, SC, but anything is possible. I've done 4 hour each way road trips to replace/install TMR-JWAP batteries, so I'm sure we could get something sorted out.

TMR-JWAP & myself met at the halfway point in North Jacksonville FL to make the deal. Had a nice conversation & exchanged some ideas. This is the first priuschat member that I have met - very nice personality. Thanks Jim!

The container can fold down and stack up into a slightly smaller volume if you really needed space.

    Just for comparison:
    I paid around 900 Euros / approx. 1060 US$ for a pack of 28 used Gen 4-modules from a 2017 Gen 4-Prius (module production date Nov. 2016).

Were they Nickel Metal Hydride? Most Gen 4 batteries in the US are Lithium Ion so they would not work in older generations (except, perhaps the plugin Prius).

Hi Kim, It was great meeting you and sharing some stories. I really like the things you do with your car. I've already talked with my wife about possibly doing some similar things to mine. The drive went well, the meet went well and I couldn't ask for anything to go better than it did. Enjoy the new battery.

    One more still available!!

If there's anyone in the Atlanta area or anywhere between Columbia, SC and the Atlanta area, that is interested in the remaining battery, or a Gen 2 battery built using these modules, contact me. I'll be in the Atlanta area December 12-14th.

I am living in Germany. The modules were from a dealer in the UK who got them from a one year old Prius Gen 4 which had heavy front accident.
