I’m looking at a 2014 Prius Three this weekend (14k) miles. Does anyone have a list of specific things I should check out before I decide to buy it? I’ll have my mechanic check it as well. Thanks!

Even though it is just beyond mileage for first oil change ALWAYS get a full carfax report so there are no surprises (such as accident or this being an off lease vehicle). Good luck!

Those miles are pretty amazing. If it sat a lot, the battery might not be in as good of condition as the miles would like you to think. Unless it shows signs of being badly out of balance, there isn't any way to know without connecting a Techstream equipped laptop and monitoring the battery cells while driving.

You don't give your location. If you're in a hot climate, the 12V battery could be nearing its end of life. Not a huge factor, just something to be ready for.

And I second what @CNYhybrid said. But I would add that miles are not the only consideration in oil change intervals. It's 10,000 miles or 12 months. So the oil should have been changed 3 or 4 times by now.
