You need to get the codes read, it can be a bad hv battery from Dorman

The 12v battery is brand new.

How can I check of the hybrid battery is faulty if its brand new.

The hybrid battery is most likely reconditioned, not brand new. However, there are a number of possible causes. You need the diagnostic trouble codes read from either a dealership or someone with the proper Toyota software. Or you can spend about $30 and get Techstream and do it yourself.
There could have been another issue besides the battery, or you could have gotten a faulty one. Without the codes, you're just guessing.

Did you swap the battery yourself? The most common problem I see is related to people not pushing down on the lever of the orange plug/disconvect after installing the plug and rotating the lever to the vertical position.

    Get the codes.
    Double check all connections.
Did you use a torque wrench to properly torque the hv connections? Or did you simply guess "by feel"?

I'm having the same issue after I switched out my HV battery. All the lights have come on 20 minutes later. Any thoughts on why this occurred? I'm certain the battery is in good condition.

Spend a little money on some inexpensive equipment so you can read error codes and see live data.

    Cost you under $75.

The codes will point you in the right direction.
The live data can help confirm your assumptions.

A few ides of common errors and thinks that are overlooked.
Did you use a torque wrench and properly torque the nuts for the module positive and negative terminals?

Did you properly torque the work 4 nuts on the posts of the contactors?

Did you fully inspect the voltage sensing wires on each of the 14 blocks?

Did you check the main voltage sensing harness plug to make sure it was free of corrosion?

I’ve replaced my HB twice with a rebuilt one locally. Ran just fine like it should for about a day, then same codes and red triangle. Had the battery tested and all the cells were perfect. Took it into Toyota and they said I need to replace my engine for some reason they could not tell me relating the oil to the HV system and causing a HV fault. Am I running too thick of oil? If I don’t run thicker oil it just seams to burn more oil every 2000 miles. Toyota just handed me a $6000 quote to fix my $4000 car haha... Any thoughts on what to do before I sell it?

To my knowledge, the engine oil should have nothing to do with the HV system. Their are 2 cooling systems though and they need the proper Toyota coolant.

    Leighton.
Yeah. I'm a bit confused. Oil and the HV system?
There must be some missing information here that would better explain the situation.

"...They said I need to replace my engine for some reason they could not tell me ...."
    This is not acceptable.
    You are the customer.
If someone wants you to spend thousands of dollars on a repair, and you paid them for their advice, you deserve a full, detailed explanation.

Current codes or codes in history?
I had codes remain in history for a while (200miles) after HV change.
Agree with advice to get a code reader...simple and effective.
