    Hi all,

I have a 2007 Prius about a month ago I got the triangle of death, vsc and yellow exclamation and check engine light. When this happened my Prius switched into "half power"...the engine revved high RPM's. I pulled over and turned the car off. I let it rest for 10 mins and restarted it with the lights still on. on my way home it did the "half power" thing 2 more times.
I checked the voltage on all my cells and found one was at 6.93...the next day it exploded.
I replaced that cell but am getting the problem of the hybrid system kicking out on me after the codes are clear and it drives and charges normal for 30-70 miles.

You'll need to get the codes when the warnings come on, you can't guess at this

Was there a specific question you needed answered?
Sounds like you have a problem.

First step would be to gather some data using an OBDII Bluetooth reader and the Torque Pro app running on an android phone/tablet.

Get an OBDII reader and then you see live data like this at a glance. Especially helpful when wanting to look at a battery you are working on while it is in the car.

Go back and double check the connections at the 12v battery.
    Specifically
    - nut that closes the clamp on the positive terminal
    - nut that closes the clamp on the negative terminal
    - bolt that attaches the ring terminal of the negative lead to the body of the car
Make sure there is no corrosion on those connections.

And, of course, make sure 100%, that the 12v battery is in good health.

I have seen odd codes when these connections are loose or corroded.

When I do the diagnostic vehicle signal check it reads 11.2-11.7 under load.

Check it with your foot one the brake, high beams on, and climate control fan on high.

Does it still remain above 11v?

ok everything is tight and no visible corrosion. I did do the battery check again and I turned on everything i could think of and the voltage dropped to 10.7

I would get rid of that battery.
    Too marginal at best.

Or at least put a different one in there temporarily.

So my car did the HV battery kicking out thing 4 times today.
So I stopped and got the codes pulled again.

Could ALL these be caused by a bad 12volt Batt?

These codes: P0A80, P3015, P3023, P3024 point to a failed hybrid battery (multiple module failures). The others can be red herrings and erroneous and should be put aside till the battery issue is taken care of.

Gen2 HV batteries are beginning to fail at an ever increasing rate. IMO, next year is going to be very busy around here. You can see what I did by following the link in my signature. It spells out your options.

    GOOD LUCK!
