I am very amazed with the way this car was designed. I love the fact that it tries so hard to run on Battery. I am still getting used to it and setting everything up the way it needs to be. I got a 2017 Hypersonic Red Advanced and enjoy every bit if it!

Congratulations! Still waiting on my Supersonic Red Advanced! I got word yesterday that it has been assembled! Did you order yours? If so, How long did it take to get here after it was assembled?

Mine was one that was ordered but the customer backed out on. I got all the accessories but the connectivity kit as well per what the Toyota Website shows when building one. Dealership added clear door protectors, clear door handle protectors, tinted the windows, and put nitrogen in the tires.

Is Supersonic Red faster or slower than Hypersonic Red?

I traded in my 2016 Four Touring for it. I dont think there is a speed difference on the color, but maybe an extra charge rofl

Nice. I have the same color (but a Premium). If you are in an area with cold weather, don't expect too much range 20-25 miles on EV (in freezing weather) but it does get much better when it's warm (~30 miles).

Was your own Prime Baby jealous?!

    .

I think Supersonic Red is the Stealth (invisible) version; it's invisible, since it doesn't exist! I just looked up the colors online; Prime red is Hypersonic Red. I guess you could call it Ultrasonic Red, when it's running in EV mode, since you can't hear it!

I also just got mine yesterday. I ordered it August 4th. Mine is the Pearl white.
Question for all of you owners - will the Smartphone app for remote starting, etc. work on the 2017 Prime? The Google Play listing says it only works on "some" 2018 models.

Congratulations to you folks that are just getting your new Primes or are anticipating getting them. For me two months of ownership with pretty much no regrets. Premium version. Drove for 54 years with cars all with spare tires that I never needed. Got stranded in the mountains of Virginia after cutting a tire 4 days into ownership coming home from Hartford Ct. picking up the vehicle. Thank God for the good people of Bueno Vista Va that helped me out in every way. Anyways, just have to ask if any of you notice when driving alone in the car the "airbag off" light is lit. What about the word "passenger" above that. Is it lit? Mine no longer is on. Anyone here got any feedback about that. I am sure mine was always lit up until a couple of days ago. I am continuing to get 34 miles per charge here in Tennessee but my vehicle is garage kept and we are relatively warm for end of November. For those interested check out the Weber University videos taking apart your engine and the rest of components. Really interesting stuff if you have the time.

Congrats on your Prime. What is a fair price for the prime? I test drove one today. In Beaverton Oregon $27,800 for a Plus, $28,500 for a Premium depending on floor mats, door guards, etc. Is the $4500 federal tax credit still there? I drive an old 2007 Prius, which I enjoy. It has better visibility than the 2017, and more cargo space in back. While I'd like the 25 electric miles, I'm not sure I'm going to buy one.

To me it is definitely worth it. I am averaging 60MPG and have only charged it for 2 hours since I got it, because i have to charge it at home outside my front porch and am working on charging it at work. Once I start charging it more, I will see way better. I am also going to charge it on weekends as I have free electricity from 6PM Friday to 11:59PM Sunday night. It is a much safer car and to me handles better than my 2016 Prius Four Touring. The best value you can get is to get the Advanced and the 4500 Tax Credit will make it worth every penny. If you are considering one, do it now in case Trump gets his way to wipe out ALL EV and Plug-In Tax Credits. I think you will be amazed on how it drives. Being your Prius is 10 Years old, I would consider this before the Hybrid Battery goes out. It is techie to the MAX.
