    Hey guys I made a video of how to swap your map light over to led's hope this helps some of your, it's very easy.

    Your videos look like you are in a hurry - to get a beer or something. Please spend a bit more time on describing the bulb type replaced and show the removed and the new LED bulb for a few more seconds to see.

    That's because people get bored. The bulb number is in the description and I believe I say it in the video.

    Thanks for the video. I went with red LEDs in a previous vehicle since I find it easier on my eyes at night or the early morning. I will probably do the same with the new Prius.

    Just what I needed! I want to replace those bulbs with LED's. Can you change the map/acccent light too? (the one that shines down on the shifter knob)? I'd really like to change that one to blue.

    The very small light that shines down on the shifter is already an LED so doesn't need changing, probably can't be changed? It perfectly matches the ultra white LED's I put in my car :)

    Might not apply to this car but if it's just a clear projector lens on the ceiling you could just use a blue marker or semi transparent colored tape cut in the appropriate shape. I've seen the factory do this in the back of the instrument clusters to change the color of the bulbs. Just a "dollar tree" idea.
