    Probably a stoically satisfying decision. BTW, not just Microsoft is goofing up here; Apple has just confessed that they deliberately slow down their older iPhones due to battery problems causing crashes!! The wild and wacky world of IT!! My Commodore Calculator was pretty reliable!!

    Here our IT decided to do its own thing. Our University is officially closed Friday & Monday for Christmas. our Distance Learning call centers decided they would be closed Monday & Tuesday do IT decided to shift their schedule too.

    The business closed early Thursday, but IT needed to come back in on Friday. :confused::mad::oops:

    I remember how I was called, and provided emergency IT services at a security gate of a residential complex on a Christmas Day!! Round trip 120 miles, 3 hours onsite, fixed everything and they complained about the $300 bill!!

    UPDATE:

    I just talked to their level 2 or 3 support person, Chris, again. He's opened a new case regarding the charge schedule email notifications not being sent and the spotty ECO Dashboard updating.

    Frankly, we need a lot more people calling than just me to get this fixed. He said that they had "one" other person call about the email notifications not coming through. It's all about the number of complaints for them.

    At the end of today, they are closed until the 27th.

    Noticed the push notifications for charging weren't working, so I gave them a ring per @Mark57 above.

    Tier 1 guy was apparently talking to Chris on the back end, confirmed that the push notifications are a known issue. I also noticed that my ECO Dashboard has not updated in nearly 48 hours, they are looking into that as well.

    I also inquired about the lack of functionality with Charge Management and Remote Climate on my Galaxy S8+. They indicated that pretty much everything is verified to work with my phone except those two options, and may have some more information when they call back next week.

    Still kind of spotty. ECO Dashboard not updated since yesterday morning and, although I did receive an email notification of charge completion at 4:45pm yesterday, since running some errands and plugging the car in at about 9:45AM this morning, I have received nothing. I just checked the Charge Management and it showed the car as not fully charged and not plugged in at 9:16AM -- which was likely one of my stops during my outing. So I initiated an update of the Charge Management status and and my smartphone quickly returned the status as fully charged and plugged in.

    Good job. Thanks for helping by calling. I'm using an S6 with 7.0 Nougat.

    I've always had do a refresh on the charge management screen. It newer did load with current info on opening. I got one start notification 6 hours late on the 21st, but that's all.

    Thanks to everyone taking the time to call. It makes a big difference.

    Takes a while using that 9 volt battery method. :p

    It's spit out a random few emails to different people but nothing reliable, yet. Hopefully the rebooted the email server, or turned it back on.

    I just got a call from Chris @ Toyota support and they want me to test the email notification because they think that part is fixed. My batt is 100% and we'll drain it tonight @ dinner and it will charge tonight.

    Yes... December 18th seems to be when the problem began.

    But it looks like it's beginning to clear up. Here is my email log:


    The last two notices at 1:41pm and 3:47pm today are the last two completed charges.

    I am keeping my fingers crossed (and my J1772 plug fully inserted and locked in place.)

    Just got a call back from Toyota. "We had a server down" was the reason stated for the lack of notifications. Also noted that my Eco Dashboard updated at the start of my commute home today for the first time in 2 days.

    On the Entune Prime Advanced features they were a bit less forthcoming, but said they'd be doing further research. Just updated to the December Android 7.0 security patches, and no change in functionality thus far.

    This answer makes one question their grasp of server redundancy and monitoring.

    It also raises the question of how they plan to pmprove processes to eliminate or reduce the severity of similar situations in the future.
