Just noticed this one click every time I accelerating and in particular if I've used the brakes. It's a loud click (like brake pad click) and whether I'm accelerating fast or slow even if I'm doing 50kmh, brake, coast for a few seconds to get back on the throttle, it'd click. The click comes particularly if the car is at operating temperature. It also happens regardless of ICE on or off though it makes one squeak noise in EV mode otherwise.

I've checked inside and brakes looks clean, CV boots intact and wheel free from debris. Driveshaft looks ok. I'm suspecting the CV or driveshaft though but I'm baffled as to what it could be.

    Any help?

Maybe there is a "hitch" in your accelerator mechanism ??........and it really does it every time you push the gas from a completely released position. Just a wild guess.

Also.....maybe it is something rolling around loose somewhere; on accel. it rolls back and smacks something hard.

Found it... Broken exhaust mount. Now to find someone to weld it over the holidays.
