My Prime does far better than my 2012 PIP did; if need be, you must very slowly approach the dip at a sharp angle to avoid bottoming out on those Mighty Rubiconic dips!!

It cost me almost 1K to fix just the left front bumper. The right would be a similar price I think. The middle section (Yes it is in THREE parts) could be damaged as well, but no idea what it would cost. High curbs and tire stoppers can also be a problem and our clearance sonar (if equipped) doesn't see that low. Since you can't see anything in front of your dash, judging how far in you are can be difficult. Toyota is happy, because they sell the repair parts!

Always plan to park 2 feet away from the curb.

My driveway is 10% and I've never scraped. I scraped my 2004 about half the time.

I drove my Gen 2 for ten years and never scraped the front bumper. I never hit it on a curb but most of the area I live in is flat and that helps.

It’s flat here but we have a few killer speed bumps and so far so good. I just stay under 10 mph. Also a few parking lots have steep exits and I always negotiate those at an angle if possible. Learned that trick taxiing tricycle gear airplanes.
